Do you want to go?
1. Calendar
You can check the calendar of procedures to go on mobility at this link.
2. Application for a place
2.1 Before submitting the application, it is very important to consult carefully:
- Information on UPC student mobility on the GRI website.
- The website of the host university (required level of English, exchange conditions, course requirements, etc.). Failure to meet the requirements entails the loss of the place.
- In the event that you want to do the Master's Thesis (TFM) at the host university, start looking for a tutor among the professors of the Master's in Sustainability and Strategies for a Just Global Transition.
2.2. The application for a place will be made through the e-secretaria, within the periods established for each call.
- Required level of English: Accredited B1 (some scholarships require accredited B2)
- ECTS per semester: 30 ECTS
- Duration of stays: 1 semester
- In the event that more than one application is made, they must be prioritized. In this sense, the following documentation must be sent in electronic format (mobilitystudents_out.camins @ upc.edu):
- Europass Curriculum vitae
- Language qualifications
- Motivation letter
2.3. Assessment criteria for the granting of places
- Academic record, 80% of the total: weighted average grade (50%), efficiency rate (50%)
- Language level, 20% of the total: official language (30%) and English (70%)
- In the event that more than one student obtains the same assessment, the curriculum vitae (50%) and the motivation letter (50%) will be taken into account.
3. Resolution and acceptance of the place
Provisional resolution. It can be consulted through the e-secretaria on the date established in the calendar.
Acceptance of the place. The student must accept or reject the place within the established deadlines through the e-secretaria. Non-acceptance of the place will be considered as a rejection of it.
In the exceptional case of resignation of an accepted place, it will be communicated as soon as possible through an application to the director, duly signed, indicating and justifying the reasons (email: mobilitystudents_out.camins @ upc.edu).
Application for vacancies. In the event that the student has not been assigned any of the requested places or has renounced the initially granted place, they may make a new application among the places that have remained vacant within the established deadlines.
Final resolution. It can be consulted through the e-secretaria on the date set in the calendar.

Master's Final Project (TFM) in mobility programs
In the event that the student takes the TFM at the host university, it will not be necessary to register the TFM nor enroll it at the UPC level. The defense of the TFM will be held at the host university, and the student is responsible for:
- Defining a UPC tutor who can advise them.
- Indicating the title and description of their TFM on the registration form, a document that must be filled out, signed and stamped by the administrative services of the host university.
- Presenting said original registration form, along with the TFM in digital format (that is, PDF file on CD support) to the administrative services of the School of Civil Engineering, once the mobility stay ends.
- For more information on content and format, consult the Master's Final Project section.
